This is how our shop display tank looked in August 2007. It's been through many changes over the past 2 years.

Originally run as a simple Percula 120 system, with the Aqua medic skimmer, ozone was added to the skimmer which really improved water quality, and an algae bed was placed in the compartment in the rear with a T5 compact light.

Interestingly the system became very live with the algae bed in the back, obviously providing some excellent food for the inverts in the tank, despite the ozone and skimmer's presence.

The system now runs with a Wave 400P skimmer which is a superb little skimmer. Combined with ozone it pulls out a lot more waste and keeps the water extremely clear.
